We had such a brilliant meal here at The Driftwood! It's a traditional bar/pub vibe that is dog friendly and has a lovely atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, fantastic value and there was such a great variety on the menu. If you're looking for a place with delicious food, The Driftwood is the place to go! We can't wait to return in future to try more of the menu!
The true hidden gem of Trearddur Bay - just a few blocks from the water but down a nondescript street… SO worth the 2 block walk! The Driftwood serves food that is truly top notch. Large portions for a very reasonable price. I’ve had the sea bass, fish and chips, and char grilled chicken across numerous visits and have been impressed every time. Incredible Sunday Roasts as well! The staff is kind and welcoming and the bar has a great local atmosphere - we felt very at home and will be back again on our next visit Trearddur Bay!
This restaurant will surprise you, its absolutely delicious food and service. A great find presentation of food and tast delicious. Its slightly out of the way and worth discovering. After eating in a local restaurant which was disappointing and the food had to be sent back. The Driftwood will certainly surprise you. A big thank you to the team.
Great food, great service and great doggy treats ( from the chef) . We were recommended to have the Sunday lunch and were so glad we did. The staff were all so friendly , but it’s the food and value that really steals the show. We checked if we could bring dogs as so many places can’t allow you inside ( which we understand) but we had a comfortable table in the bar area which was ideal . We will definitely be back. Chef is brilliant !
We did a last minute on line booking for 7 and a dog only to find that what I had booked was in the no dogs here section. The staff were awesomely accommodating , made space and set up an extra table for us and the dog. The place was really busy but our orders were taken quickly and efficiently and the wait for our food was less than I expected given the size of our party and how busy the place was. The food arrived all together was piping hot, cooked to perfection and delicious. I was well impressed I shall certainly be visiting again. If you go and are served with the same level of attention and quality of service you will not be disappointed..
We visited North Wales for sightseeing last weekend and stumbled upon this excellent restaurant — what a hidden gem! We ordered the fish and chips and a gammon steak. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were more than fair for the quality and quantity of the food. I personally had the gammon steak, and it was fantastic. The grilled flavor was rich and smoky, far better than I expected! The fries on the side were crisp and tasty, and impressively, they stayed that way even after they’d cooled. The grilled pineapple on top added a lovely sweet-and-sour contrast that paired perfectly with the savory gammon. The environment was clean and cozy, and the staff were warm and friendly. We even asked for a recommendation on the best sunset viewpoint nearby, and they were happy to help. Easy parking, great food, friendly service. This place is well worth a visit. Highly recommended!
First visit for Sunday lunch after a friend recommended. Excellent service, food and value for money! Shared squid starter, both had beef roast dinner & shared apple crumble. Will definitely come back.
We came by this beautiful venue last minute and was able to get a table without a reservation. We were greeted by friendly staff who kindly seated us and were able to take our orders very quickly. We ordered the Welsh rump steak and seabass...it did not disappoint! The presentation was lovely and the food itself was so fresh; it was delicious The only thing I'd suggest is for the staff to make guests aware at the beginning that you pay for your food at the bar and not in the restaurant. Thank you for looking after my sister and I
